Greetings dear Chroniclers,

Are you looking forward to Halloween, too? I have candy ready for the trick-or-treaters. (And I'm doing well so far at not snitching any!) The weather should be good for our neighborhood kids this year, so I stocked up well!

In the spooky-season spirit, I have two short stories for your reading pleasure.

Last Breath is about a yuki onna (snow maiden) who makes an important discovery about the nature of revenge.

Down Time is a light story snippet about someone who rarely takes time to let down his ultra-serious mask. But he discovers everyone needs to, even a few being he thought were just stone!

A heads up for you, there will be no November newsletter. Next month, I'm participating in Game of Tomes an online writing game as one of the main "bad guys" (leading the undead horde against the living). The role will suck up much of my time.
