Hello ,
We recently received a very special package. Rivet Revolution graciously donated an assortment of their gemstone bracelets to us to help raise funds to continue our mission to provide quality resources to caregivers. This simple, stylish, stackable jewelry was created to raise awareness of Alzheimer's and help fund the mission to end it.
We have a very limited number of bracelets available for sale: $28 each, including shipping and handling.
We are also offering Books and Bling, which includes one of our books along with your choice of bracelet: $45 each, including shipping and handling.
Perfect for Mother's Day, graduations, bridal gifts and more.
The Revolution Story
Started by two friends, Liz and Susan, who supported one another through the struggles of caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's, the Revolution launched in the summer of 2016 with four goals:
- spread awareness of the impact that Alzheimer’s is making on each of us,
- support the multitude of people caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s while trying to raise a family, go to college or just simply care for themselves,
- support unique organizations who are helping to educate communities, politicians, medical professionals about Alzheimer’s.
- support cutting edge research striving to find a cure to end Alzheimer’s.
With more than 44 million people impacted by Alzheimer’s worldwide, and another 140 million family and friends providing care, Rivet Revolution helped support these communities by donating a portion from every bracelet purchased to a network of charitable organizations: Maria Shriver's Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement™ (WAM), Seth and Lauren Miller Rogen's HFC (Hilarity for Charity), The Youth Movement Against Alzheimer’s , Women Against Alzheimer’s , 4MOM™, and Part the Cloud® .
Sue and Liz recently closed their online shop and thought AlzAuthors a worthy entity to receive some of their remaining inventory.
About the Bracelets
The bracelets are beautiful and symbolize your commitment to Alzheimer's awareness and its eradication.
Each one consists of healing gemstones and charms from Rivet Revolution and AlzAuthors. Liz and Susan believed the "rivet" can hold the Alzheimer’s community together. Designed to be worn every day and inspired by the perennial strength of the “rivet” — which can be traced back to the Bronze Age—this hand-crafted classic jewelry is symbolic of the emotions and wishes of those who have been affected by this disease.
We are offering a limited number of bracelets made from five different gemstones, each holding their own meaning and purpose:
Black Onyx: known for its grounding and protective properties. It helps you to stay sharp and focus on your responsibilities. This stone promotes positive energy flow, improves mental clarity, and aids with decision-making.
Howlite: a calming stone that symbolizes patience and perspective. Its soothing properties encourage healing for the body, mind, and spirit and helps to unburden an overactive mind. Works well for reducing stress and anxiety.
Wood Jasper: a nurturing stone that offers support during times of stress. It encourages inner peace and helps to soothe the nerves and control emotions. It reminds us to care for ourselves while caring for others.
Amethyst: a natural tranquilizer that helps alleviate worries, sadness, and grief. This healing stone soothes irritability, reduces tension, and promotes restful sleep. It helps to clear the mind and wash away toxic thinking.
Labradorite: a captivating stone that helps you get back in touch with your inner wisdom. It promotes emotional balance and well-being while encouraging you to overcome fears and find your courage.
Each bracelet is made of 4 mm stones.
Our inventory includes two sizes:
- Small/Medium: 6 ½"
- Medium/Large: 7 ¼"
Each bracelet is unique, and subtle variations in color, texture and shape of beads may occur and are what make your Revolution bracelet special.
The bracelets are made in America. The gemstones were purchased from a US based importer. The Rivet Revolution charms were made in California, and the AlzAuthors charms were manufactured by a member of the AlzAuthors management team in Oklahoma. The bracelets were assembled by human hands in the US.
All proceeds will benefit AlzAuthors and allow us to continue providing easily accessed resources for the dementia journey.
We are a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit.
Thank you for your support
