Caregiver Appreciation Month comes to a close. Remember, we see you!
Nov 30, 2024 2:01 pm
Hello ,
As Caregiver Appreciation Month 2024 draws to a close, we wish all caregivers, peace, strength, hope, and joy throughout the holiday season.
Caregiving is hard, and often we stumble, make mistakes, lack patience, or simply don't know what to do. We may feel inadequate, resentful, exhausted, or overwhelmed. Over the last ten years or so, we've learned many things from our authors and the more than 400 resources we've gathered into our collection, but the most important is that we are all learning.
No one comes into this journey with all the answers, and, if they do, the journey is full of twists and turns, dead ends, and plenty of surprises. That's why our authors have chosen to share their stories and what they've learned: to help others find their way so they can not only survive dementia but thrive. And that's why we've put together our inspiring collection of caregiver guides, memoirs, fiction, children's books, blogs, podcasts, films, and more: to help you find your way.
On our website you'll see a page dedicated to Free Resources. On this page, you'll find a number of caregiver tip sheets, compilations of books by care situation, and two anthologies showcasing the first two years of our blog posts. Please download them and share them with your family, friends, and members of your care network. We're certain you will find a resource that speaks to you, offering knowledge, comfort, and support.
Remember, you are not alone. We see you, and work tirelessly to bring you the best resources to assist you on your caregiver journey.
