Hello ,
In a world filled with uncertainty, sisters Lori Aden and Sheila Parsley had no idea the unexpected twists and turns that awaited them. Little did they know that their journey as caregivers to their mother with dementia would lead them down a path they never could have imagined. It started with a diagnosis, a heartbreaking reality that changed their lives forever. But what they discovered along the way, the strength, resilience, and compassion that emerged, the lessons they learned, is a story they felt they had to tell, and we are the richer for it. In this week's podcast, we hear their story about caregiving in the time of COVID 19, and how they fought to be with their mother in any way they could. We also learn how some Facebook posts turned into a community, and then a touching memoir, and later several books for children. We hope you enjoy this conversation as much as we did.
