5 Little Potions is now included with your Alchemist Camp membership

I’ve spent a good part of this summer substantially rewriting and expanding 5 Little Potions, my project-based whirlwind tour of Elixir.

I first wrote 5 Little Potions while LiveView was still changing quickly, which meant repeatedly revisiting the same material as APIs and conventions shifted. That churn is one reason I went quiet for a long time. With LiveView now much more stable, I've finally been able to do the rewrite I wanted to do rather than another temporary patch.

The new edition uses the guessing game as a preface, then walks through five full-sized projects, progressing from Elixir basics through LiveView and GenServers to a multiplayer LiveView game using PubSub and Presence.
