Peace, Gods Mercy and Blessings on you!
Have you ever listened to an Islamic talk or reminder and walked away feeling unseen, a little defensive, or just plain uncomfortable? You're not alone. That subtle (or not-so-subtle) pang of discomfort isn't something to ignore. In fact, it's a powerful signal.
It’s a common experience: a speaker delivers a powerful message, seemingly meant to inspire, yet for you, it lands differently. Instead of feeling uplifted, you feel... triggered. Perhaps you feel called out in a way that feels accusatory rather than encouraging, or you sense a disconnect because your reality doesn't seem to fit the narrative being presented.
This isn't about you being "sensitive" or "not spiritual enough." Often, these reactions stem from a complex interplay of factors which I share in today's video.

This is Why Muslim Speakers Trigger You
Want to work with me?
I provide a range of services across two primary areas: Creativity coaching and personal healing. In publishing, I offer focused consultations for your book projects. For trauma recovery and personal development, you can access one-on-one coaching.
I'm also excited to share a new 'Creative Corner' on my YouTube Channel. Feel free to browse the playlist. My intention is to keep it slightly messy and unedited, so if you want some inspo to the point, you might like it. On it I share poems, quick advice if you're working on a project and whatever else pops up.
Thank you for being here with me.
Stay collected :)
With love and peace,
