The problem is, when media sensationalizes or misrepresents these critical issues, it can leave parents feeling lost, confused, or even misinformed about how to actually support their children and prevent harmful outcomes. Are the challenges really as simple (or as extreme) as they're often depicted? And more importantly, what are we not seeing that could make a real difference?
