Question of the Week
Q: What's the difference between the SAT & ACT?
A: Both are very similar standardized tests that are used as a metric for college admission in the US. That said, they do have subtle differences that you should be aware of. Overall, the SAT focuses more on reading comprehension and english altogether, while the ACT focuses a bit less on reading comprehension, and instead substitutes the focus on science. Both tests have english and math sections, but only the ACT has a dedicated science section. Therefore, if you're stronger in math & science, we recommend that you take the ACT; likewise, if you're stronger in reading comprehension & english overall, we recommend that you take the SAT.
