Hi ,
Today’s devotional speaks to something many of us face daily, often without noticing it.
Scripture:
“Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else.” — Galatians 6:4–5
Comparison rarely announces itself loudly. It slips in quietly—through scrolling, observing, measuring, and wondering why your life doesn’t look like someone else’s highlight reel. Before you realize it, peace begins to fade and confidence starts to erode.
But comparison was never meant to guide you.
God didn’t design you to live by someone else’s timeline, gifts, or calling. When you measure your journey against another person’s, you lose sight of what God is uniquely forming in you. Comparison distracts from gratitude and replaces it with restlessness.
Your assignment is not to outrun others; it’s to remain faithful to your own path.
If you’ve been feeling behind or overlooked, today is an invitation to recalibrate. Shift your focus back to what God has placed in your hands. That’s where clarity lives. That’s where peace returns.
Reflection:
Where has comparison crept into your peace, confidence, or sense of purpose?
As you move through today, practice this simple shift:
Bless others without measuring yourself against them.
You are not late.
You are not lacking.
You are being led.
Steady with you,
Agatha
