Hi ,
Today’s devotional invites you to rethink strength.
Scripture:
“But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.’” — 2 Corinthians 12:9
We live in a world that rewards toughness. Confidence. Self-reliance. So it’s easy to believe that softness is something to overcome something to hide or outgrow but Scripture tells a different story.
God’s power doesn’t bypass weakness. It settles into it. Softness isn’t fragility. It’s openness. It’s the courage to feel deeply, to stay tender in a hardened world, to admit need instead of pretending strength. When you allow yourself to be vulnerable, you create space for grace, not just to touch you, but to work through you. If you’ve been trying to armor yourself against disappointment, rejection, or fatigue, today is an invitation to lay that armor down. You don’t have to be unbreakable to be used by God. You just have to be available.
Your softness keeps you human.
Your surrender keeps you aligned.
And God’s grace does the rest.
Reflection:
Where have you been trying to appear strong instead of resting in grace?
As you move through today, let yourself soften — not into fear, but into trust. Strength doesn’t always roar. Sometimes it rests.
With grace for the journey,
Agatha
