Hi ,
Today’s devotional centers on identity not as the world defines it, but as God does.
Scripture:
“For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” — Ephesians 2:10
It’s easy to see yourself through the lens of failure, labels, or unfinished growth. We remember our mistakes. We replay our shortcomings. We measure ourselves against who we think we should be by now.
But that’s not how God sees you.
When God looks at you, He sees His workmanship - intentional, thoughtful, and purposeful. He sees potential that hasn’t been exhausted and goodness He’s already placed within you. He doesn’t define you by your worst moment or your most recent struggle.
You are not an afterthought.
You are not a problem to fix.
You are a person God delights in shaping.
This doesn’t mean there’s no room to grow. It means growth happens from security, not shame. When you start seeing yourself the way God does, obedience becomes lighter, faith becomes steadier, and comparison loses its grip.
Reflection:
What false labels or self-judgments do you need to release today?
As you move through today, practice this quiet truth:
You are seen. You are valued. You are being formed with care.
Seeing you with grace,
Agatha
