It's finally July!
I've got an announcement about The Headless Corpse (Heyward and Andersen #3) and some changes to how I send out my newsletter.
First the newsletter. Due to some issues with my mailing list service, I've decided to streamline and scale back to only one newsletter a month. That means, starting next month, you'll receive only one newsletter, sent on the first Saturday of each month. You'll still get the same content, there just may be slightly less of it.

The Headless Corpse, Heyward and Andersen #3, is officially launching July 11th!
The dead are rising and walking away from mortuaries…before returning without their heads.
Tasked with investigating, dogged detectives Elspeth Heyward and Lars Andersen must uncover the sinister culprit reanimating the newly deceased and locate the still missing bodies.
Tracking suspects throughout the city, they encounter trouble and shenanigans with each clue, until the trail brings them worryingly close to their own doorstep.
To solve the mystery and protect the city, Heyward and Anderson must go toe to toe against a rogue sorcerer with the final confrontation promising an explosive showdown…
Will this be Heyward and Andersen’s last case?
Set in a world of airships, mysteries, and monsters, The Headless Corpse is the third story in the Heyward and Andersen, Consulting Detectives series.

The book is now available for preorder on Amazon.
And live at all other retailers. (The preorder was too short for my wide distributor, so it's launching early on the wide platforms, but may not be on everyone yet).

And hopefully story #4, Rivalry and Steam Monsters, will be out in late September or early October.

Tales of the Norse Gods
It looks like this is the next book to be published after the Heyward and Andersen stories (the paranormal cozy mystery will be pushed back to next year). Loki wants his story finished, so I'll be working on getting it done by October.
Inside the Book
Tales of the Norse Gods was almost derailed by an evil chicken, but late last year, that reluctant character finally spilled its secrets while I was at the dentist. Yeah, I don't understand it either, but at least the chicken finally squawked.
