I hope that this finds you well. Thank you to Naomi, who pointed out that I had incorrectly spelt where my next scythe course is happening. Its happening on June 22nd in Broadhembury, near Honiton in East Devon. For more info and to book click here.
One of the things that I appreciate about the scythe is that it use to bring people together, to cut and create the hay. Nowadays a lot of scything happens by ourselves, which is somewhat of a shame. On Monday 24th June at Foxhole community gardens in Dartington I will be doing some scything in the morning, if anybody has done a course with me or has some experience you are welcome to join me. I wont be teaching, however its a good opportunity to try scything with others.
I want to be creating and offering more opportunities for scything together. A great place to witness team scything is this weekend at the green scythe fair. It is a beautiful thing to watch people scything in synchrony, and what a great thing to replicate.
If you would like to join me on Monday 24th please do get in touch before hand.
Warmly,
Ross
