🌿 Cozy Fantasy Kickstarter, Severance Review & Divine King Update

Hello Peeps!

Hope you're having a lovely start to your week. I've got some exciting updates, from a magical Kickstarter to a mind-bending series and a writing milestone. Plus, of course, a photo of a snoozing Snoopy!

🌿 My Co-Author’s Kickstarter

My amazing co-author, JP Rindfleisch IX, is launching their latest project on Kickstarter tomorrow!

Mosswood Apothecary is a beloved cozy queer fantasy that topped the charts on Kindle Vella and Tapas, known for its mix of botanical alchemy, found family, and slow-burn romance.

This special collector’s edition includes full-color illustrations, sprayed edges, and chapter icons—perfect for fans of Miyazaki-style magic and heartfelt queer stories.

You can follow and learn more about the launch here!

🧠 Series Review: Severance

This is one of those shows that takes its sweet time; and half the time you’re watching, you’re not entirely sure what’s going on. And yet… you’re hooked.

The plot is deeply compelling, the characters are flawed and fascinating, and the slow unraveling of the story keeps you guessing. One of the best series I’ve seen this year.

The only downside? The wait. Season 2 took 3 years, and Season 3 might not drop until late 2026 or 2027. Still—totally worth it. Solid 9/10.

Have you seen Severance? I’d love to hear your thoughts.

📝 Surpassed 10,000 Words!

We’re making big moves on Divine King! I just passed the 10,000-word mark, and honestly? This story is writing itself.

It’s been a while since I’ve had such a good groove. Every scene flows, whether it's action, dialogue, or quiet tension. JP and I spent months outlining... and yet, the characters seem to have their own plans😆.

I think it’s shaping up to be a beautiful conclusion to this project we’ve poured ourselves into for over five years.

Wishing you a magical week full of great reads and good vibes.

Stay weird and keep those pages turning,
