🚀 TikTok Milestone, Writing Updates & A Happy Pup

Hello Peeps!

Hope you're having a wonderful day. I’ve got a few quick updates, a review, and, as always, a photo of Snoopy to brighten your inbox.

📱 1,000 Followers Reached

We did it—1,000 followers on TikTok!

After posting three times a day for over three months and pushing myself outside my comfort zone, we’ve officially hit this milestone.

It’s been a wild ride with some big highs and lows, but in today’s world, putting yourself out there is part of the game. A huge thank you to everyone who’s joined so far! If you haven’t yet, you can follow me on TikTok here.

✍️ 5,000 Word Milestone

A few weeks ago, I started working on the first draft of Divine King, the final installment in the Leah Ackerman Series. Last Friday, I passed the 5,000-word milestone, and today I’m diving into Chapter 5!

As the story unfolds, the stakes are higher than ever. Writing Leah at this stage feels like a completely different experience from Book 1. That’s one of the most rewarding parts of writing a series—seeing your characters grow, learn from their mistakes, and adapt to the new challenges ahead.

Without giving too much away (no spoilers here!), this book really explores one of the core themes of the series: How far are you willing to go for the ones you love?

🦸 Series Review: Invincible

If you’re not familiar, Invincible is an adult animated superhero series on Amazon Prime based on the comic by the same name. It follows Mark Grayson as he discovers his powers—and the heavy cost that comes with them.

It’s gory, trippy, and refuses to play by the usual rules. There’s no plot armor here, and the show takes the superhero genre to its darkest corners.

Despite being animated, it’s one of the most realistic takes on superheroes I’ve seen. While the genre has been saturated over the last couple of decades, Invincible focuses on the collateral damage—the destruction, the loss of life, and the emotional toll of superhero battles in cities like Chicago.

I just wrapped up Season 3 and I’m loving it. Solid 7.5/10.
