[💡WFUN] We can't erase our past, {{contact.first_name}} 😢

Yo Work FUN Homies!
Our last email about people close to us not believing in our dreams got a lot of replies, thank you guys for writing back!
Lots of you chimed in na nakakarelate daw, but this one takes the cake:
Actually, hindi lang nila ako tinawanan back then when I'm just starting in freelancin..
Thankfully, our ka-Work Fun Homie (who chooses to be anonymous) has persevered, and a few months later daw..
I'm now helping them to pay bills, Ako na bumabayad sa internet and tubig.. and tumutulong narin sa ibang gastusin.. nakalabas Ako Ng manila solo for the first time from bayan.. para mag bakasyon!
Hindi lang Yun, nakakuha narin Ako Ng passport.. lol But guess what..!?.. syempre kung may passport dapat di na sayangin Yung opportunity..
Naka labas rin Ako Ng Philippines and went to Bangkok meeting with my client for 1 week short vacation... Boom!!
Needless to say, life would be so much different.
It reminded me of a wonderful quote in Spanish that goes:
Wait! Spanish pa talaga? hehe wala ako mahanap sa tagalog e. the closest i found was something Jose Rizal said about looking back and smelly fish hehe 😉
"Nunca habrá un borrador para corregir el pasado, pero siempre habrá un lápiz para escribir el futuro!” ~José Oscar González Hernández (click here if you want to see me botch the pronunciation of this quote on video lol)
It means:
“There will never be an eraser for correcting the past, but there will always be a pencil to write the future.”
I believe that writing our own future is a crucial step towards achieving success in our chosen path.
Many times, we experience doubts and ridicule from the people around us, especially if we haven't produced any concrete results yet. (Again, don't feel like inapi ka, it's just how it goes kasi wala silang data)
It can be disheartening, lalo na if the criticism comes from our loved ones.
In the end, it’s also for them din naman e.
The past only reflects our previous decisions and experiences, but it does not define the entire story of our life.
The sad truth though, is most of us can't get out of our past, we always let it rule a large part of our present and future life.
The future is a blank page where we can write our dreams, aspirations, and ambitions. So let's start making it happen na, today.
While it may be difficult to forget past failures and struggles, don't let them diminish your determination to move forward.
You are the author of your own story, .
You already know what to do in order to enrich your life and bring happiness and peace of mind. Hanging out with people who have a similar growth mindset is a start.
Crush your week (and write your future)!
