Where are you looking?

Folks,

It's a decent headline, given that this weekend, in gardens up and down the country, there have been Easter eggs hidden in plant pots, bushes, and garden sheds for the little ones to find.

I asked AI what the theme for my blogs was this week, and got this: "Each one is about where you put your attention — and why that choice reveals something about you."

The circus is in town: Don’t look at the clown, watch the palace.

Coach Education at scale: The particular gets lost in the general, and in general, it's to no one in particular.

What’s the destination: When the gloss has worn off - what’s on the other side?

To-do list: What do I want to become is a better question than what have I become.

I’ll let you be the judge.

But before I wrap up, I want to share a story from this weekend, which makes the point.

I was on a call with Mike talking about our workshop this Thursday, and he was telling me about these two bird boxes that his neighbour had given him. One was sky blue in Man City colours for his wife, and his was red, for his beloved Liverpool. This week, the birds had been flocking around the Liverpool box, and so convinced was he that it was a sign that straight after the call, he was heading to the bookies to put on a bet for the FA Cup.

It turns out that the birds were telling him that Man City would spend all afternoon in the Liverpool box 🙂

Where you look is where you go.

Simon

P.S. A reminder that I’ll be with Mike Coulter this Thursday at 8:30 pm, talking about the incendiary form that is the Manifesto.
