It's Sam from the SLUGGER team writing our first dispatch from the void. Arwyn will pop out like a jump scare and provide some more thoughts as they feel like it.
Updates:
We received 193 submissions during our general submission call in June 2026. This call will fill SLUGGER Vol. 3 & 4. We’ve read them all and decisions are tough. We’ve sent out 8 acceptances so far with spots for at least 12 more stories. All decisions will be sent out no later than September 15th.
In case you missed it, SLUGGER is solicitating essays from punk educators for a non-fiction book Punk & Education (tentative title) for release in 2027.
