Updates:
I'm finished tabling for awhile! My last two events were local, including The Heart of the Valley Anti-Capitalist Bookfair and an event at the Benton County Museuem. I traded a SLUGGER for a volume of CALYX, a women-centered lit mag located right here in Corvallis. They've been around and crushing it since 1976. I'm learning a lot from tabling experiences. Depending on the event, there can be different goals and expectations when it comes to sales, reaching a new audience, and engaging with the community. Seems like a good topic to get in more depth in a future newsletter.
