It's time. It's finally time for a new preorder! If you have been following me on my socials, you'll know that I have just released a brand new preoder, in a brand new series, with a brand new coauthor.

Tracie Delaney has been one of my best friends for the last few years. In 2023, we started talking about doing a cowritten series for fun. Pure, unadulterated fun. We chatted about what that would look like, what genre we might enjoy dipping our toes into, and we both said mafia.

It's not what I normally write, it's a lot edgier and Patrick Mahoney (head of the Irish mafia) is much more morally grey of a hero than I'm used to writing, but man, was this book fun to write.

I've published it under Lasairiona Lewis because it's not the lighter, sports romance vibes that Lasairiona McMaster has, but while it's mafia, I wouldn't say it's black-as-night dark romance. It's maybe mafia-lite?

It's not the lightest I've read, and it's certainly not the darkest. In writing, Patrick and Sorcha took on a life of their own and utterly possessed us. I had the best time writing this book, and I can't WAIT for you guys to meet them in September.

This book/series won't be to everyone's tastes, just like my Protocol series isn't, so I won't be offended if you give this one a pass. But if you're a fan of mafia romance, delicious, morally grey Irish men, and redhaired, spunky Irish women... this one's for you.
