LATEST NEWS & UPDATE:
Howdy y'all,
I can't believe we're in mid-July. Where is 2025 going?
First things first, if you're not in my Facebook group, you might want to be. Next week, I'll be sharing a few sneak peeks about my upcoming secret cowrite. I already mentioned in there recently that the new subgenre I'm venturing into with my Lasairiona Lewis penname is Irish mafia romance - and next week... well... let's just say, you don't want to miss what I have to tell. Join my Facebook group here.
This year is going past in a weird blur of colour and light like those images of night streets you see online sometimes. It's so bizarre. But it's turning out to be one wild ride!
In June, I was asked by a local author to take a table at the first ever (that I know of) author signing on the entire island of Ireland. I had like three weeks to prepare (and just over a week of that was eaten up by the vacation I mentioned last time). Somehow despite my back giving out on me again (and with the help of my very reluctant eleven year old son) I managed to pull it together over that last weekend in June, and it was truly amazing. One of my favorite signings to date, and I can't wait for 2027 when it rolls back around again!
When I recovered from the signing, I had an email in my inbox from Four Brits Bookfest in Glasgow inviting me to sign in the fall. I've wanted to do a FBBF signing for AGES, so I jumped at the chance (once I'd secured a trusted assistant to help me with my heavy lifting of course!) That brings my signing total to two for the rest of the year, with Authors at the Armouries being the other one.
I'm so excited! Nothing warms my heart and makes me happier more than a chance to hang out with readers, and chat books with them. I'll circle back around in a month or two with links to preorders for those of you who live close enough to make the trip.
July also brought with it a little cut and color. My stylist said I've gone from a gateway midlife crisis color to a full-out midlife crisis color, and I'm here for it. I wanted something a little bolder, and I think magenta suits me quite well.
For those of you who are new to the mailing list, please don't forget to grab your free copy of my Kiss and Tell exclusive, Dump and Chase. It won't be available for free for much longer, so get it and a bunch of other exclusive freebies while you can!
And we are dangerously close to some exciting new, secret co-write news... keep an eye on your inboxes, readers!!!!
OH, one last thing before you go. Control is on sale for 99c/p this weekend. If you haven't met Thor and Addison yet... RUN!
Until next time,
Have you joined my reader group yet? If not, then head over to: Margaritas, Men and Mischief with Lasairiona. As the name suggests, it's a place for my readers to chat about all things romance - with a healthy dose of sarcasm, sharp wit, conversations comprised entirely of GIFs, sneak peeks, giveaways and a plethora of memes. It's one of my absolute favorite places on the internet and I'm really enjoying getting to know readers that bit better over there. Don't be shy - we don't bite... much! Come on over!
