S'up?

Las has decided to take today off. Okay, not true, I may have hacked her account and am sending this on the down-low, you'll never know. I mean, it's kind of her own fault really, who uses 'Password123' as their password anymore? Idiots, that's who.

She tells me you guys love me anyway, so I'm sure you won't mind me stopping by. She's been trying to get me to talk to you for... like... forever, but I keep saying no. Can't have everyone falling in love with me - Chelsea's head would probably explode.

Did you know she has a dildo book coming out soon? Okay, fine, vibrators, same diff. Either way it's clitterature, right? Good Vibes is coming on August 9th, and I'm fighting the urge to write something pithy about you coming too if you buy it.

She also has a giveaway running right now - the prize is a Kindle Fire, some books and an Amazon gift card - if you're not in, you can't win!

Las asked for me to share my cinnamon roll recipe, I keep telling her I don't have one, I just throw shit together in a bowl until the magic happens. But she made me write down the pancake recipe I use for pancakes instead, since she knows if I share my cinnamon roll process, I'd have to kill ya.

I make a big-ass bowl of this and leave it in the fridge overnight to 'mature' - this is where AJ would make a quip about how it matures faster than me, but since he's not here to do that I'll just tell you that these pancakes freeze really well and you can add a whole buncha shit to them to make them even better... bananas, chocolate chips, raspberries... maple syrup... always maple syrup, but you know it's gotta be the good Canadian shit, right? Right.

3 cups all purpose flour

2 tbsp white sugar

1.5 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

3 cups buttermilk

1/2 cup milk

3 eggs

1/3 cup butter melted

Mix the dry shit together. Mix the wet shit together in a separate bowl and keep them apart until you're ready to make sweet, sweet pancakes.

Mix the wet shit into the dry shit and make sure you don't end up with lumpy shit.

1/4 cup for Lisa and Chelsea sized pancakes, 1/2 cup for AJ and me.

Wham, bam, pancakes ma'am!

Later gators,

Jeremy

P.S. If you haven't read my series, which is obviously the best one Las has written so far or will ever write, there's a link further down this newsletter so you can binge read all her books about me. I think every home needs a Jeremy shrine, so hit her up for signed copies. Not my signature, obvs, ain't nobody got the cash for that, but hers ain't a bad runner up prize ;)

Four Letter Feelings

Jeremy Lewis has just returned from a year in Europe, ready to start college in Alabama and pursue his dream career in the National Hockey League. Other than boring school work, he’s eager to play hockey, hang out with his new teammates and maybe even rekindle an old flame when Chelsea Davis unexpectedly reappears in his life.

Life is looking pretty darn peachy.

But when his world is turned upside down by a tragic loss, merely surviving each day feels like an achievement. How can he get through college and keep his budding career on track when all he wants to do is drink and squander his parent’s fortune? Can he convince Chelsea he’s a changed man when he seems so intent on his own destruction?
