Who wants a Snow Pirate teaser?

Howdy y'all!
I can't believe it's mid-July. In less than four weeks, Good Vibes will drop on your Kindles, and I'm feeling all kinds of feels about that. Despite not being able to advertise the book on any platform (Facebook, Amazon, and Pinterest are seemingly offended by vibrators and think we're trying to cause some kind of Clitterati uprising by empowering women with orgasms) this is my first 3-figure preorder. I'm pretty damn proud of that.
In case you missed it, I dropped my first teaser for book one in my Snow Pirates series, Two for Interference the other day in my reader group, so I thought I'd share... isn't it glorious? I'm so excited for this book baby to burst into the world in August!
Book one is in final edits, and coming along nicely, I've plotted out books two and three and am gearing up to dive in and write until my fingers fall off. This series is thrumming through my veins and I can't write it fast enough.
It's hard during the summer months. My son is off school and we won't have any support, other than the occasional 2-3 hour summer camp, it's just my full time working husband, myself, and our lil guy. Thankfully I can ask him to go read for a while and he'll occupy himself, but balancing authoring and mothering over the summer, well, like I said, it's hard.
That's why I've taken to getting up at 5am every morning, even weekends, to cram in a few hours of work time before he gets up. It's productive time, sure, but I'm exhausted, and I still find myself wishing for more time in the day.
How are y'all handling the summer months?
What else is new with me? Well, last week I got my second vaccine, it knocked me on my butt with fatigue and a headache, but I have it, and for some reason I still don't feel any more confident going outside my door. Am I a hermit now? Did the Coronapocalypse turn me introvert? I have questions.
I also renewed my passport. My shiny new passport arrived in hand yesterday and my itchy, wanderlusty feet are twitching to travel. I have plans to visit the US in the fall, but until I know it's going to happen, I'm trying not to get too excited about it, or make too many plans.
Right, I have words that need writing, a kiddo who wants a bagel for breakfast, and a week's worth of laundry growing over my washing machine like vines of smelly ivy. It's time to actually go do some adulting. Stay safe, y'all!
Until next time,
Have you joined my reader group yet? If not, then head over to: Margaritas, Men and Mischief with Lasairiona. As the name suggests, it's a place for my readers to chat about all things romance - with a healthy dose of sarcasm, sharp wit, conversations comprised entirely of GIFs, sneak peeks, giveaways and a plethora of memes. It's one of my absolute favorite places on the internet and I'm really enjoying getting to know readers that bit better over there. Don't be shy - we don't bite... much! Come on over!
