I can't get enough traditional pho, and no one makes it better than Pho Express on Sixth in downtown San Diego. This is not an ad, thought I'd share a food pic this week it's been a while. This is the place we visited the most when I lived downtown.

OPTIMISM: πŸ’–

Be humble, you may be wrong.

Be forgiving, you may feel lighter.

Be honest, you may sleep better.

Be generous, world may reciprocate.

Be kind, you may be remembered.

Be optimistic, you may do a lot more.

Be courageous, you may climb higher.

Be yourself, you will be much happier.

HOMEWORK: πŸ“

Say no to single-use plastics:πŸ™…πŸ½ It's easy to use plastic bags, to-go cups, and straws. This week I challenge you to say no, bring your reusable cup to the coffee house, and remember your reusable grocery bags. At a minimum start to notice the amount of single-use plastics you're using on autopilot, change starts with awareness.

OTHER STUFF: πŸ“’

This week I have a confession and hope you understand: I AM A PROCRASTINATOR. I was recently relieved to learn that putting off items in your to-do list isn't a sign of laziness, it's your inner critic coming to life. "Procrastination and perfectionism often go hand in hand. As some researchers have concluded, perfectionists 'experience a chronic sense of falling short of their own personal standards,' triggering their procrastination."🀯image

Check out this Life Kit episode on Reframing Procrastination to revisit your relationship with procrastination β€” and learn tools to kick the habit.
