A quick capture from our morning walk:
I took a picture of my girls ChloΓ© and Lupita as they explored the huge door on the front gates of this Mexican revolution-era fortress. Behind the doors is a functioning church and the National Museum of Interventions, a History museum in an ancient convent on a battle site, with military relics & guided tours. The museum is still on our list of things to do!

Did you know that roughly 20% of San Diegans speak Spanish!? That figure grows to 50% in Chula Vista. I caught a recent report on the availability of Spanish-language graphic novels. Check it out here!
HOMEWORK: π
Superhero Movie Night in Spanish: Plan a movie night featuring your favorite superhero or comic-con character and switch the language settings on the audio playback to hear them en espaΓ±ol, as an alternative switch on closed captioning to Spanish and grow your bilingual vocabulary while seeing a familiar story! π¬π
OTHER STUFF: π’
Channel your inner superhero and stay informed about the key issues this political season. Visit Voto Latino to understand whatβs at stake and how you can make a difference. Whether youβre a caped crusader or a masked vigilante, your vote is your superpower! πͺπ³οΈ
