Hello ,
This week, I encountered a statement twice, and it stopped me in my tracks.
It said: “Never forget that the life you have now is the life you once prayed for.”
The first time I saw it, I nodded. The second time, I paused.
Because the truth is that - Yes, I’m grateful for where I am. Yes, I’ve seen answered prayers. But in this same week, I also found myself almost whispering a word I try not to use often: Tired.
Tired of waiting.
Tired of hoping for certain things that don’t seem to be happening fast enough.
Tired of carrying expectations that feel slow, heavy, or overdue.
So I felt like I was standing on two sides of the same coin.
On one side, things were happening—beautiful things I once prayed for.
On the other side, some things were dragging—slow, quiet, and honestly frustrating.
And right in the middle of those two realities sat that word again: tired.
The truth is, many of us live in that in-between place:
celebrating one part of life while waiting for another, feeling grateful yet still longing, thankful yet a little weary.
Then, still in that same week, something else happened.
I came across a sticker, a simple one, but it grabbed my attention immediately.
It said: “Never stop looking up.”
The moment I read it, it felt like an anchor.
Because whether I’m on the side where life is unfolding beautifully, or on the side where I’m waiting and sighing and asking “God when?”— one truth remains that I must never stop looking up.
And that is the message I want to share with you this week.
No matter if you find yourself in the joy of answered prayers, in the frustration of slow seasons, or in that confusing middle place where both exist at the same time, never stop looking up.
Because God is the only One who brings both sides of the coin together. He is the only One who sees the full picture. He is the only One who makes all things beautiful in His time.
So if you’re waiting, keep looking up.
If you’re celebrating, keep looking up.
If you’re tired, keep looking up.
If you’re holding on by a thread, keep looking up.
Everything will come together. Everything will make sense. Everything will align at the right time.
Just a matter of time—His time.
So this week, shift the weight from your shoulders and place it into God’s hands. Trust Him. Believe that He is with you. And keep your eyes lifted.
Never stop looking up.
Have a blessed week.
Take Care,
Olamidotun.
