Hello ,
November 30th… well, just a few hours to December.
How did we get here???
This is a question I always ask myself. As we enter the end of the year, I wonder how quickly time passed.
Just a few days ago, we were at the beginning of the year, and now over 300 days have passed.
Don’t think of it as 11 months. Think of it as over 300 days where you either chose to make the right choices… or told yourself no sometimes.
As we go into December, I’m reminded of why I love this month so much. It’s always that time where I begin to think, assess, and quietly ask myself, What can I do better?
But in the month of November, I learned something very simple… and it’s probably one of the things I’m going to keep telling myself in the new year ahead:
I am going to stop telling myself no.
Why?
Because every time I have an idea and I tell myself no, I am stopping myself and giving myself permission not to dream. And that is something I want you to begin to think about too.
Just this past week, I finished my first French book.
Let me say it again — I wish I could say it in French — but it was exciting for me.
Finally, two years down the line, I finished my first French book.
The book originally written in English, is very popular among younger kids and in schools because it teaches children to be themselves.
And so I thought to myself, Why not write it in another language? French… and possibly Spanish.
It has been an interesting journey because I personally don’t speak French. But I love the fact that I never told myself no. I explored all the options. I asked for help when I needed it. And I kept going.
I’m excited to finally see it on shelves across Amazon. But one thing I learned from it is this:
If I told myself no at the beginning, this would never have become a dream come true.
As we go into December, and as you prepare your heart and mind for another year, begin to ask yourself:
What am I going to change about my decisions?
When do I need to tell myself yes more?
Where do I need to give myself permission to dream again?
Because guess what?
God has said all things — every single thing — will work out for your good.
And most importantly, every time you tell yourself yes, you are choosing to live your life to the fullest.
Have a fantastic week.
And don’t forget… tell yourself yes.
Take Care,
Olamidotun.
P.S.: Feel free to forward this to someone who needs a little reminder and encouragement.

Affirmation for the week
“I give myself permission to dream.
I say yes to possibilities.
I say yes to God’s timing,
God’s favour, and my own growth.
Every ‘yes’ I choose opens
the door to the life I desire.”
Word Of The Week
📖 Ephesians 3:20 (NIV)
“Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.”
