Hello ,
Welcome to November!
This month, I come in with thoughts of joy and thanksgiving, because no matter how the year has been, I’m choosing joy as it draws to a close.
I’m also inviting you to choose joy too and remember that your story isn’t ending just because the year is ending.
Instead, our stories are still unfolding before me, one page at a time.
This feels even more true after this past weekend, when I hosted a mentorship session for The Chosen Company.
I and my mentees had one of those moments that stay with you long after they end at Her Story, Her Power, Her Journey.
It wasn’t just another conversation.
It was a mirror and a gentle reminder that each of us, no matter our age or season, is on a journey of becoming that is shaped by grace.
During the conversation, our guest speakers, Gudo and Christie shared truths that cut across gender, culture, and stage of life.
As I listened, I found myself nodding over and over because their stories carried deep truth.
Let me share just two moments that stayed with me.
💛 From Gudo came this reminder:
“If your community isn’t there… you will fall.”
That line lingered in my heart. Because no matter how strong, gifted, or driven we think we are, we weren’t created to do life alone.
We need people who can stand with us, pull us forward, and lovingly push us back into purpose.
💫 And from Christie came this:
“Go on the journey of self-discovery early. Deal with your identity early and know that you’ll be fine.”
That one hit differently.
Because whether you’re 23 or 53, the truth still stands that you can’t build a future on a shaky sense of who you are.
And for us, that identity is found in Christ, the one who steadies us when everything else feels uncertain.
These weren’t just words for our Manifest 2025 mentees.
They were for every one of us for anyone figuring out what’s next, feeling left behind, or quietly rebuilding their confidence.
As We Step Into November… Let’s make this our month of paying attention to our own stories and giving them the weight they deserve.
Even better, let’s make it a confession month. Not the loud kind, but the still kind.
This should be a month where we whisper truth about our journeys back into our hearts to help us keep going strong.
It’s 8 weeks to the end of the year, so reflect and see how this year’s story links to next year.
And whether November feels full of momentum or a little uncertain, hold this close:
You’re still becoming.
You’re still called.
And you’re still covered.
Believe this and have a wonderful November!
