Welcome, Updates, and Exciting News

First off, welcome to all the new subscribers! I’m so excited to have you here, and to my longtime readers—thank you for sticking around. I know I’ve been kind of MIA with this newsletter, and I’m sorry about that. Life’s been busy, but I’ve got some updates I think you’ll love!
So, what’s been keeping me so quiet? I’ve been diving deep into The Dream Herald. I can’t spill too much about it yet, but let’s just say it’s a mix of dark dreams, heavy secrets, and a character who’s learning just how much power she carries. Here’s a little sneak peek of the opening chapter:
It began with a whisper. Sweat dripping from my pores and down my chest, thick and heavy like the stench of death after cutting into a cancer-ridden cadaver. My eyes shot open, lungs breathless from a dream vivid enough to blur the line between nightmare and reality.
But this wasn’t just a bad dream. This nightmare was real, and I knew it all too well.
Still a lot of work to do on it, and it's my first attempt at a first person narrative, but I think it's off to a good start! At the same time, I’ve been working with my writer’s group on another story many of you will be familiar with: The Desperado’s Tale. Honestly, I’m not sure yet which of these two books will make it to the finish line first, but one of them should be ready by late 2025 or 2026. (I’ll keep you posted, I promise!)
