Spring flowers, bring audiobook update showers!

Hey there

While it's not yet officially spring, I wanted to send this out to keep you in the loop about what's been going on in the world of everything Next Life and James G. Robertson. I've got some good news, bad news, and even a great deal to share with you! I'll start with the bad news first.

I've had to delay Dawning of Darkness's Audiobook by three months. Yes, I know, I know. You were looking forward to listening to it, but unfortunately it was needing to be done. This extra time will allow me to really get those action sequences shining, and to make the experience the absolute best it can be. I want to make sure I mix it just right, and choose the correct sounds for the situation so I don't listen to it later down the road and be like "I really could have done this, or that."

On to the good news. At least I think it is good news. By delaying Dawning of Darkness, I've given myself a bit of time to remaster The Ripper. By remaster, I mean that I've added more directional sound to the audio, a few new sounds and re-recorded a few Ripper spots I felt could be better. I've also enhanced the sound by widening both the SFX and the characters' voices.

This whole process took me about a month to achieve, and as a thank you for your continued support, I have a special deal just for those of you on my email list! For everyone not on my list, the current price on Soundwise is $9.99, but to apologize to those of you here for the delay on DoD, I've put together a discount. Until the end of the day on Wednesday, March 20th (US Central Time-zone), you can get The Ripper audiobook for only $7.99 at Soundwise using the code Remaster. This will be the cheapest it will be for a long time. After the deal, it will still be at a lower rate on Soundwise at $12.99 versus its new retail price of $19.99 at other stores, but if you want to save an extra $5, now is the time to act!

GET THE DEAL!

The reason I'm able to offer it for so much cheaper on Soundwise is because I'm able to get most of the royalties there, versus the other market places I am only able to get only 25% - 50%. Though I do have to cover the taxes on Soundwise. Just a little business insight for you.

Finally, if you have an interest in being an early reviewer of Dawning of Darkness's audiobook, then let me know by filling out this form.

Depending on the demand, I will be giving out up to 10 free copies, but please only sign up if you have an interest in it and will leave a review as this will help me and hopefully give you a nice little something. The options to receive your review copy will be via Soundwise or Spotify (though this is country specific).

Thanks again for all your support. If you have any questions, suggestions, or inquires, please remember I'm always open. Just contact me here.

Have a wonderful Spring, and I wish you all the best.

Until next time,

James G. Robertson
