Hey there ,
The conveniences of modern society and lifestyle have damaged our normal human existence.
Chronic low-back pain is a result of years of sitting causing deterioration of strength and mobility in the core, hips, glutes, and hamstrings:
- Sittng is the way we spend the majority of our lives
- We sit in cars, buses, trains, and airplanes for transportation
- We sit during meals
- We sit for work and when engaging in entertainment
- We sit during social gatherings and nearly everything else
- Sitting encourages bad posture, destroys strength and mobility, shortens the hip flexors, and tacks down the tissues of the glutes, and hamstrings
- The spine loses its only support! Chronic low-back pain is the result
- We are born with a natural full range of motion and an instinct for proper human movement
- To undo the damage, we must focus on mobility
- Bottom of squat position, samson stretch, and couch stretch to restore the hip flexors
- Smashing tacked-down tissues to break up scar tissue and restore sliding surfaces
- Prioritize strength training-core exercises, squats, and deadlifts with proper range of motion
-
Change diet to reduce abdominal weight that strains the lower back
- Pay attention to hydration
Looking forward,
NHF
