Hey Strawberries,
Happy Birthday—to me! It’s my 46th year around the sun. I feel I’m on the cusp of my crone years, and I can’t wait. No wrinkle creams for me. I’m excited for my hair to be white enough to dye it pastel colors without bleaching it. Bubble gum pink will be my first color. I will be excused from wearing actual clothes around town and will wear my pajamas everywhere. Fancy restaurants in sweatpants—here I come!
To celebrate, my favorite book that I’ve written, Hooking Captain Teeth, is on sale for 99 doubloons. If you love it, be sure to pick up Shiver Me Satyr for free as a special birthday promotion. I can’t think of a better way to spend my birthday than in a bawdy tavern with a bunch of drunken pirates, and all of you.
For those of you who follow me on social media, you may have wondered if I had walked the plank. I’ve been huddled in my writing cave, finishing Clutching Her Bird Twins’ Pearls. The final installment of the Pearl Clutchers trilogy is a Why Choose, horror romance of a WWI nurse who grew up in Leopold’s house of horrors. What was it like as the daughter of a mad scientist? Ellenore Guett would love to know. She’s lost her memory, but receives hellish visions during her night terrors and migraines. They are too terrible to be real…according to her. When she’s called home to nurse her father back to health, she pretends to remember everything because her guts tell her not to trust him for some reason…
Book Recs!
Thank you to everyone who came out to Romance Books, Hooks, and Crooks in March. We had a tremendous time. I always love that show because the proceeds go to such an amazing cause. The Kentuckiana Romance Writers make author dreams come true for every member, and it’s beautiful to watch. When is my next event? It will be the LaGrange Book Fair on August 1st in the LaGrange CityPlace. I hope you will visit me.
Blessed Be and Let Magic Find You!
