Hey Strawberries!
I’m writing to you from beneath a mountain of tissues and cough drop wrappers. When you stress yourself out, what always happens next? You get sick. Yeah, I know the germ theory of disease is true, but I swear when I’m stressed or upset, I’m a magnet for every bug in the state. How did I let myself get this way? I put pressure on my creative muse to perform where she didn’t want to, yet. Then, as the days slipped by without hitting word count, the responsible part of me started to freak out that I would let everyone down – from the readers, to my fellow Monsters in Uniform authors, to my characters in the book.
So, today would have been the release date for Frank’s Patient if I hadn’t cracked. I just couldn’t put out a “good enough” version of the story I want to tell. For those of you who’ve read my works since Marrying My Moth Lady, you know I was born with Ulcerative colitis. Many members of my biological family have had the J-pouch surgery, which is a lifesaver for those with UC. Other family members are against removing such a large part of their digestive system. Where do I sit? Undecided. In a doctor’s office, where they tell me I either need to manage my stress levels better or get the surgery. Just like how I processed my Hashimoto’s syndrome diagnosis in Spelunking for a Goblin Husband, I’m sorting my thoughts about this surgery in Frank’s Patient…which can’t be rushed. Frank’s Patient will now release on 3/19/26 with plenty of time to be a full, complete story.
Does that mean I’ll have two new books releasing three days apart? Yes…again. If you remember, Eight Maids A Milking released 7 days before Clutching Her Fishman’s Roe. In October, Earth Girls Are Easy to Dominate was released 3 days before Leprechaun’s Lucky Hucow. Somehow, I always end up competing against myself in those new release top ten. I promise to break this habit. It’s not good for me.
On 3/16/2026, 3 days before Frank’s Patient new release date, will be the release of Obedient for Her Orc. Arc copies are flying out of BookSprout! I’m over-the-moon excited with the response to Daisy’s books. This book is one of my favorite ones that I’ve written.
We finally get to see what happened to Daisy when Bessy was captured by the goblins in Leprechaun’s Lucky Hucow. It’s deep with eldest daughter syndrome plaguing our FMC as she navigates a healthy D/s relationship. This isn’t the 50 Shades version of BDSM where they fall in lockstep from the first kiss, and he controls her every breath. What Daisy and Henrulg have is representative of those who “live the life” with planned scenes, safe words that actually get used, and a Dom who wants his submissive to grow into her best self. It means giving her more freedom, more agency, and more confidence than she had in the herd…but I don’t want to spoil it.
The Hucows of Magmell are perfect for your March reading list because book one has a Leprechaun MMC, book two has a green MMC, and book three…well, y’all already know Little Fae’s Riding Bull from Eight Maids A Milking. I’ve received tons of questions about this series, and I’m humbled that y’all love reading it as much as I love writing it. Will there be paperbacks? Stories one, two, and three will be published in the same paperback once I have the rights back for Little Fae’s Riding Bull. Will the series continue? Yes, but not in 2026. I must complete the other open series before I launch another trilogy, which I will call 4-6. Remember? This year, I’m finishing everything I’ve started.

BOOK RECS!
If you’ve been following all the gossip around book signings, you know I canceled both my Ohio shows with AAP. I’m so sorry that I won’t be able to connect with my readers in the central Ohio area since that’s my hometown stomping ground! I’m currently working with the Barnes & Noble that I used to visit as a kid to do a solo signing instead, so stay tuned. After losing over $1000 in failing book signings, I’m sticking to smaller, more reliable events…like the one I’m hosting. That’s right! When you want something done, do it yourself. The second annual Romance Books, Hooks, and Crooks will be 3/28/2026 at the Georgetown Optimist Club. GA tickets are free, and VIP entry is $20 (includes KRW charity anthology for all the authors to sign.)
