Hey, Strawberry Fans!
Is it too hot out there for you, too? The witches of Strawberry, Kentucky, are melting, and you can feel it in the humidity. I’m just grateful the giant cicadas have gone back into the ground (perhaps to hell?) Between the swarms of giant bugs and the oppressive temperatures, this summer is a bust. My garden is scorched and neglected. Anyone else give up on early summer veggies? I’ll be lucky if my tomatoes produce. There’s always the autumn garden, right? I do have my pumpkins planted, but we shall see if they’re orange by Samhain. It’s Kentucky’s pattern to hold the temperatures until early December, so maybe I’ll carve pumpkins for Yule instead, LOL.
Speaking of Yule…do you celebrate Christmas in July?
But enough with the weather! We have a party to attend! Meet Hybris, the salacious satyr with the barbed peen. Today marks the release of Shiver Me Satyr and the completion of the Walk the Walk pirate series. I finally completed something—a miracle for an Aries Sun, Aquarius Rising. Me hearties are dancing together in a giant beach party, except for Magda, who has to wait for the sun to set. It’s tough being a vampiress. Who’s Magda? If you joined the series at Hooking Captain Teeth, you’ve heard the legend, but you encounter her face-to-face in Shiver Me Satyr. Read her tale and how the crew comes together in Walk the Plank.
Without my pirates, how will I fill the void? By popular demand, some of my standalones will become trilogies. I was overwhelmed by the praise for Clutching Cthulhu’s Pearls. My first horror romance had a warmer reception than the sticky Kentucky swamps. (Here we go with the weather again, lol!) Book 2, Clutching Her Fishman’s Roe, will join the Time for Monsters series in January 2026. Book 3 will shortly follow, but it won’t be in the same multiauthor series…because it’s MFM…ah hem…
In the same vein of stretching my writer’s chops, A Taste of Her Own Hucow Medicine was a fan favorite. I can’t thank you enough for supporting my venture into writing with some of the most prolific kink writers in the business. They have invited me back for Milk Me Harder 2026 and 2027, making this a trilogy of anthologies. In 2026, I’ll release A Taste of Grace. Remember Gracie, inoculated at the beginning of A Taste of Her Own Medicine? She gets her story published! I’m so excited, and I couldn’t have done it without your support.
What are you doing this weekend? If you live near Chattanooga, how about a road trip to the Read House? Why? I’ll be there from 1-4 pm, signing books. Flirty in TN moved from Pigeon Forge to Chattanooga, but I hope to see everyone there. I’ll have special editions, release copies of Shiver Me Satyr, and limited book boxes. If you shied away from book boxes at the Monster Brides Virtual Con because of the higher prices, you can pick up the same box without the shipping costs. A bargain.
For my friends across the pond, Chattanooga, TN, is a long haul. How about London, England instead? The Otherworldly Loves Monster Con is June 2026 and quickly approaching. The organizers have slashed the prices in half, too. Not only will I sign your favorite titles, but we will also party together at meet & greet events, share laughs at author panel discussions, and get into SO MUCH TROUBLE. You know my brother, monster romance artist HevKevArt, lives in England, so there will be twice the energy, twice the sheenanigans, and twice the monster-lovin’ fun. I can’t wait to meet you.
Or would you rather keep your monster lovin’ anonymous?
BOOK RECS!
Thank you so much for your continued support, especially those who attended the Monster Brides Virtual Con. Y’all know I never get nervous, but I can tell you behind-the-scenes, the Monster Brides authors worried nobody would attend a virtual convention. Y’all blew us away. We can’t wait until next year…so we moved it sooner. That’s right! We will play games, introduce you to new titles, and share sneaky tidbits in panels in January of 2026. Be there or be square!
Blessed Be and Let Magic Find You!
