Hello ,
It has been busy in Strawberry KY, as I have been preparing for the release of The Spy Who Loved My Russian Tea Cakes. This book is where all my interests collide - spiritual healing, steamy paranormal romance, and my spouse. I'm married to a Russian hottie. This book is deeply personal - and not because it contains my mother-in-law's Russian tea cakes recipe. Our heroine, Cassie Bench is a level 2 Reiki healer who is left without her mentor over the holidays. Did you know I have my level 2 certification as well? I started taking spiritual healing classes a couple of years ago when conventional medicine wasn't managing my autoimmune disorders. My classes branched from Reiki healing to Shamanism and eventually, my specialty Hawaiian Shamanism. So Cassie is me after my first year of training and not ready to wake a coma patient...but no one can resist Sergei the Spiritual Spy.
You already know and love Sergei from The Spy Who Was Out Cold. (If you haven't downloaded your copy, you can find it in our Member's Area on my website. Remember the password is Rafaella is with capital R). In The Spy Who Loved My Russian Tea Cakes, he gets his happily-ever-after. Have you preordered your copy for the 11/30/2021 release date?
Have you finished The Spy Who Was Out Cold and have already pre-ordered The Spy Who Loved My Russian Tea Cakes? Don't worry I have free books for all fans at these book fairs!
Please note the All Romance Book Fair has a contest for a $30 gift card to the bookish retailer of your choice! It features free books from sweet as Smoother Than Spumoni to hot as The Spy Who Loved My Russian Tea Cakes.
Maybe you are in the mood for steamy stories instead like Strawberry Shifters Book 1: Bear with Me...
And then there are those of us who like it hot, like The Spy Who Loved My Russian Tea Cakes...
While this holiday season is all about spirituality, spies, and Russian Tea Cakes, I haven't strayed from my first love: shifters and vampires. Strawberry Shifters Book 3: Go Scorch Yourself is in formal edits with The Wild Rose Press for an early 2022 release. Do you remember the clash of Betty and Lucien at the Yule party at the end of Round of Applause? Well Book 3: Go Scorch Yourself starts there... Also in the works with The Wild Rose Press, Dance to a Wylder Beat is in audio book production.
In 2022, I will also be making my Kindle Unlimited debut. Walk the Plank is the first book of a historical, paranormal romance trilogy. Set in 1718, Branko abandons his post on the Queen Anne's Revenge when Blackbeard starts bartering crew men for mercury treatments. Branko steals a sloop at Charles Town harbor only to find a vampire chained in its hull... Molina the Vampire's body has been sold to science - while she's still using it. While she prayed for a rescue on her journey across the sea, a rogue pirate was not her first choice of rescuer. In this friends-to-lovers tale, they must trust the link between them to avoid returning to chains...I can't wait for you to meet them.
Do you follow me on Goodreads? I review 2-5 books per week here.
This month’s book recommendation is a FREEBIE! Yes, the first installment in the Mermaid Hunter series by Yolanda Allard is free here - https://storyoriginapp.com/swaps/c2c0abc4-3e6c-11ec-ae2d-9bd8de95169e. Darkest Depths is a new adult romance with a new twist.
Thank you so much for your continued support. I have many new books in the pipeline which I can't wait to share with you, starting with The Spy Who Loved My Russian Tea Cakes at the end of the month. I think 2022 may be the year of the vampire since Go Scorch Yourself, Rotten Apple, Walk the Plank, Walk the Decks, and Walk the Night are all 2022 vampire romance new releases. Don't worry if vampires aren't your cup of tea (see what I did there?), Sound of a Wylder Silence is in contract negotiations and Hazy Shade of Wylder's proposal has been accepted. The future in Strawberry, KY is so bright, I hope I can shine a little light on you too.
Let Magic Find You,
Marilyn
