I can’t believe I’m sending a Christmas-themed newsletter when the weather in Kentucky is sunny, but humid due to Hurricane Francine hovering over Arkansas. Today will be in the upper eighties (Fahrenheit) degrees! I don’t want summer to end…so here’s a book fair with a little Summer lovin’ to hang onto summer one more month. Those of you who know me in real life know my husband surprised me with tickets to the drive-in movies last weekend because it’s on my bucket list. I appreciate everyone who came to see me at the LaGrange Indie Book Fair and the Lexington Book Bash. I felt so welcomed and loved, which means everything to me. It’s tough being the monster romance author at in-person events because of the number of people who feel the need to question my spirituality, morality, and sexual preferences to my face. However, I felt at home at the Lexington Book Bash and LaGrange Indie Book Fair, thanks to you. My next appearance is at the Madison County Library (KY.) At this free event, I’ll be on a panel discussing romance writing and my chaotic process, reading passages from my books, and available at my table to purchase books & merch, take photos, or just chat about monsters.
