Happy Winter Strawberries!
Please join me in wishing Thomas the Fishman and Diana a happy book birthday! I hope you loved their tumultuous romance and the mystery. Where’s the baby, Leopold? Yikes, I put my scariest nightmare into their book, tempered by the most protective hero I’ve ever written. My editor, Evil Commas, fell in love with him and defended him throughout revisions. That is a personal win for me because she reads almost a dozen monster romances a month. I finally hooked her, and I hope Thomas hooked you, too. (Get the fishing pun?!) If you haven’t read the sequel to Clutching Cthulhu’s Pearls -
What started as an anthology short about a swamp monster has now ballooned to two books of my first horror romance trilogy. I can’t thank you enough for encouraging me to go this route in my career. These books are so enjoyable to write. The Pearl Clutchers trilogy will be completed on 7/7/26 when Clutching Her Bird Twins’ Pearls releases.
Thank you to everyone who ARC read, preordered, and KU read Eight Maids A Milking. It hit number one on the AMZ best seller list in all three of its categories at different times. I couldn’t be prouder of Little Fae’s Riding Bull. It’s one of my favorite stories that I’ve ever written. Inspired by the relationship between my son and his two mute best friends, I wrote Franklin as the compassionate, strong, MMC who could lift his FMC to save herself instead of hiding in cabinets and under tables…and then made it scorching hawt.
Little Fae’s Riding Bull is part of the Hucows of Magmell trilogy with Leprechaun’s Lucky Hucow and Obedient for her Orc. Because all three stories take place at the same time, you can read them in any order. However, I’m releasing Obedient For Her Orc on 3/16/2026 to encourage you to put Leprechaun’s Lucky Hucow on your St Patrick’s Day recommended reads list. See? I’m sticking to my promise to complete all three open series in 2026, before I open new ones…
What new series, you ask? It’s up to you. You voted with your page reads when Clutching Cthulhu’s Pearls was new. What about this? On February 20th, I’m asking what if your favorite medical drama (Grey’s Anatomy, ER, Chicago Hope, or Doc?) was a monster hospital. Would you support a series? Because Haunted Health is a hospital for monsters, created by human friends who stitched Dr. Frank Stein back together after he was hit by a bus (and gave him surgical equipment hands). Meet the staff in Frank’s Patient and visit the hospital that delivers were-babies, gives a certain Chuchunya a vasectomy, and mends a certain moth lady’s injury. There’s no ailment he doesn’t believe will be cured with surgery…until he meets Alette, who was adopted by a werewolf clan but appears human.
Book Fairs!
What are you doing next weekend? Are you available? The Monster Brides authors are having their annual Monster Brides Virtual Con. I’ll have a live party, a live interview where you can ask me anything, and a traditional Fb party where I’ll be giving away tons of swag and books. This is where you can get your hands on the sprayed edge books (Walk the Walk (a huge 756 book), and The Christmas Spy) without traveling to a book show. The con is free, just join the Fb group and answer the entry questions. If you don’t verify that you are 18, you will be rejected for legal reasons (it’s gonna get spicy), so please answer the entry questions!
Book Recs!
Why end the Christmas cheer when you can get your jollies off with a sentient candy cane romance?
I can't recommend this book enough! If you loved Smoother Than Spumoni, then you will love this.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the Escape to the Briny Deep schmivaway last month. Your responses were loud & clear. If you aren’t hunting for books on TikTok, I’ll keep allocating more time to writing than posting. That means more books for you. Thank you so much for your feedback. Congratulations to Amanda and FeralFMC, who received eBooks. I hope you love the sentient octopus MMC/pirate FMC romance.
Blessed Be and Let Magic Find You!
