Welcome back to my monthly newsletter! I hope everyone is doing well. I'm so incredibly happy that Fall is finally here! The summer months always hit me hard and give me reverse seasonal depression. Now it's time for my favorite cozy months to shine! This month was all about slowly getting back into a routine and continuing to build the foundation for my business. Here's a recap of how September went for us.
Coffee shop review time!
Our featured coffee shop this month is super cute! It's called "One Love Coffee House," a cozy little gem in Cloverdale, VA. We enjoyed our time here, trying the seasonal lattes and some delicious breakfast sandwiches while I worked on planning for the month ahead. The atmosphere is super inviting and calm, and I would definitely love to go again!

Happy Birthday Cody!
This month, I surprised Cody with an Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy performance in Roanoke. It was such a unique and special experience, and something we've never done before. We received a cocktail inspired by each poem, which the actors would then perform on stage. The actors absolutely killed it! We were completely drawn into each performance as we sipped on our cocktails.
Apparently, they tour around the United States, so you might be able to catch them if they're coming to a city near you. I'll leave a link to their website here:
Work in Progress
Slow progress has been made this month, with a schedule change at work forcing me to change when I create my art. On top of that, my computer decided to take another dump, further delaying my creative endeavors. But progress is better than none!
Here's what I've created this month. I've finished another fall-themed sticker sheet and finalized my logo for "Lender's Splendors." I've got two more sticker sheets to finish for fall, so I'm going to focus on completing those soon.

Etsy Store Grand Opening!

Goals for October
My main goal this month is to continue focusing on maintaining a consistent posting schedule. I'm going to finish my last two fall sticker sheets, and I would also like to list some of my art prints in my Etsy store. I'm going to keep my goals simple this month since I have some plans with friends and family.
Overall, things are going well for me. I'm really enjoying the journey of getting my business up and running again. It's so rewarding to look back and see all the progress I've made so far and I'm glad you all are experiencing this journey with me. I hope you all have a wonderful spooky month! I'll see you again in November~
