My Creations this Month || July 2026

Welcome back to my monthly newsletter!
It's been a couple of months since I've checked in. Lately, I've been thrown into an endless cycle of work at my day job, putting in 50 to 60 hours a week with no end in sight. It feels like I've been pulled underwater, given just enough time for a small gasp of air before another wave drags me back down again. Working under these conditions has led me to a realization: this is not what I was meant to do with my life. I'm not meant to spend my life working for a corporation that uses and abuses my time while showing little respect for the life I have outside of work. I work enough to get by, sell my time for money, and repeat the cycle day after day.
I cannot keep living like this.
So, what am I going to do?

What's the plan?
I'm giving myself the next 6 to 8 months to prepare to jump back into freelancing full-time.
Creating art and telling stories are what give me a reason to wake up in the morning. No, seriously. I literally wake up at 3 a.m. every workday to create before my energy is drained by my day job. It's the only way I can continue my mission to create through the chaos of life.
It's a scary thought, making this leap, but I believe I can do it. Soon, I'll be opening my online store again so I can start selling my art. I'm super excited about it, and I'll let you all know as soon as the store launches!
My new fancy printer!
Another exciting thing I did this month was invest in a new printer! We got the Epson EcoTank ET-8550, and I'll be doing all of my printing from home now, which I'm also super excited about.
It took a few weekends of hard work to smooth out all the kinks, but with Cody's help, we were able to get the colors to match exactly what I had envisioned. This is going to be a total game changer for my art business, and I can't wait to see what I can create with it!
My sticker collection!
My first sticker collection is complete! These are all of the sticker sheets I've been working on over the last few months, and I'm so excited to finally see them all come together. I'm hoping to get them listed in my store soon, once I figure out how I want to package and ship everything.
