Mission Statement:
Kingdom Builders ministry exists to serve homeowners in the greater Oneonta area by providing quality labor to address construction needs that they are unable to accomplish by their own means. Although the practical focus is on construction, the spiritual focus is on building relationships with those served, with the end goal of demonstrating the love of Christ through ministry.

God at Work: Through Trials and Triumphs
Romans 5:3 (NIV)
Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance;
Romans 8:28 (NIV)
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
These verses came to me as a powerful reminder of how our challenges strengthen and grow us—and how God works in all things for our good and His glory.
Our last project was a particularly challenging one—full of hidden obstacles that stretched and tested me as a child of God. It was a project that ran over budget and demanded a significant amount of time.
But God... God saw us through, as He always does, and the end result was rewarding. Seeing the transformation of the home and the relationships formed was truly a blessing.
I don’t know about you, but when I face something hard and make it through, the feeling afterward is so joyful that it makes me want to do it again. "Glory in our sufferings!"
Kingdom Builders has many projects in the pipeline, and we need your prayers—prayers for funding, time, and strength. We continue to be blessed by the Lord and know we are in God's will.
Because of your support, we’re able to bless many families. Thank you for your continued partnership as we press forward and watch God's Kingdom grow.

Colossians 4:2-5
“ Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with Thanksgiving; meanwhile praying also for us, that God would open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in chains, that I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak. Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time.”
This is a great passage of scripture that reveals some important things that
help us in reaching out to those in and outside our church borders. As the Christian community, we are called first to love our Lord but also to influence others with Christ’s love in every day life. Kingdom Builders is a wonderful way to express our love for God and others. This passage from the apostle Paul to the church at Colossae begins with an important part of ministry. Prayer! This scripture says continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it. I believe in targeted prayer, where a need is placed on the believer’s heart and they feel called or burdened to pray for a certain ministry, person or situation. As prayers go up, heaven comes down. Part of the Lord’s Prayer says “May His Kingdom come and will be done here on earth, as it is in heaven.” I believe it all begins with prayer. As we pray we start to see answers.
Some answers come quickly and some come over time, but we know God hears! Paul asked the church to pray for them, that God would open a door to
share the gospel. The book of James states, “ If a man lacks wisdom, let him ask for it, and it will be given to him.” So we, at Kingdom Builders, also ask for prayer, that we would have the right words to share with those on the outside, that He would continue to provide the resources needed to touch lives and, most of all, that God would be glorified in this ministry.
