Mission Statement:

Kingdom Builders ministry exists to serve homeowners in the greater Oneonta area by providing quality labor to address construction needs that they are unable to accomplish by their own means. Although the practical focus is on construction, the spiritual focus is on building relationships with those served, with the end goal of demonstrating the love of Christ through ministry.

Sharpened and Shining for the Lord

As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.  Proverbs 27:17 NIV

This verse is a great reminder of how God's desire for us is relationship. I believe no matter a fellow believer or non-believer God puts people in our lives to hone and sharpen us. To give us knowledge and wisdom in matters where we lack. And to bless others where we have the wisdom to share. 

I am truly blessed in the role I have at Kingdom Builders. I am able to interact with a variety of people and personalities that teach this guy a thing or two and share my knowledge that God has given me to share. My hope is that our irons will be sharpened for the glory of God.    

We are on our way to a very busy year. We will be starting a job for a family in dire need of a new floor, kitchen, bathroom, drywall in entire kitchen and bath, new plumbing and wiring in a few areas, skirting, exterior doors, windows, insulation and a new deck. We have been interacting with the homeowners already and I'm excited to get started. There will be many challenges with numerous pets and keeping the home safe and functional while doing this work so please keep us in your prayers that it will go smoothly. 

Some of you may know that this kind of extensive work can be very stressful for a homeowner. We will definitely need the Lord looking over us as our iron sharpens others’ irons. The Sword of the Spirit. Thank you all for your continued prayers and support.

Praise:

God that iron sharpens iron is an opportunity to fulfill the Law of Christ.

For the blessings of godly disciples of Christ, and ministries of God, in our lives.

That the harvest is plentiful, meaning we always have an opportunity. Matt 9:37

Prayers:

That God would help us to build others up, to influence others in ways that lead them to experience life in Christ.

That we are not afraid or anxious of the friction that leads to godly sharpening.

That our hearts desire would be for the flourishing of ALL those God has placed in our homes, places of work/school, and communities and neighborhoods.
