Mission Statement:

Kingdom Builders ministry exists to serve homeowners in the greater Oneonta area by providing quality labor to address construction needs that they are unable to accomplish by their own means. Although the practical focus is on construction, the spiritual focus is on building relationships with those served, with the end goal of demonstrating the love of Christ through ministry.

 Well we are blessed

As Kingdom Builders pulls forward, we see God at work. We were able to secure funds and move forward on the last part of our project for our single moms’ trailer. We took a Saturday and pulled together as community and worked hard. The skirting got installed and we took some extra time to prepare a nice little spot for some flowers. What better way to have Gods creation part of our project than flowers? We will get back with the help of flower minded people to plant and see the beauty God hands us. As we worked hard side by side, I was reminded how important relationship is in God's work.

Jesus was all about relationships. Through his humble service, teaching and healing He showed the prime example of what a child of God is to be. I fall short of that many times but by the grace of God I can continue and strive to do better. Thank you God!  

We are now thinking about our next project. We have a family of 5 in need of various repairs on their home. I’m looking forward to getting right into the work but more importantly getting into the relationship. Work will always be work but the relationship is something that sticks. And I am looking forward to getting stuck. And having you part of this ministry is what makes this all happen. 

I am humbled and grateful for your prayers and support. So, let's keep this going. As soon as the funds are secured for our next project, we will begin the work and the relationships. If you are currently giving to Kingdom Builders, we thank you. Message from the Board

I first met Andy when he returned from serving in Papua New Guinea shortly after I started attending Main Street Baptist Church. Having been to Indonesia myself for a mission’s trip I immediately felt connected to what he was doing and joined him in prayer. Andy and I had several discussions before he departed for Cambodia. God began preparing my heart then, even though I didn’t know it, for the Kingdom Builders Ministry. 

My hope and prayer for this ministry as it grows is to not only be able to repair people’s homes but to impact their lives in other meaningful ways as well. As we wrapped up this most recent project – Andy suggested putting some finishing touches on a small garden at the front of the trailer to add a little something extra. We used some perennials from our own yards and had a donation of dirt, so it was in addition to Kingdom Builders funds and just our board members personal contribution to the project. It’s not much but it helps to go above and beyond and adds a nice touch as we bring things to a close there. As our ministry grows, I hope this is something we can continue to do with each project as Kingdom Builders seeks to serve people as we meet their needs.

Please pray with us that the support for our ministry will continue to grow. We have several projects on standby, but we need continued financial support in order to proceed. We’re seeking possible grants to apply for and plan to reach out to area businesses in the weeks ahead.  Pray that God will open doors for us. Thank you for your financial and prayer support as we move forward. We desire God’s help and guidance for each part of this ministry and are grateful for your partnering with us in that way.

That we don’t have to do life alone. You have blessed us with a body of believers that we can call our family.

For Chloe and her son, that they may have a peaceful and quiet life grown from godliness and holiness in our Lord Jesus.

Prayers:

For those God is preparing to encounter the ministry, that their hearts be open and ready when we meet.

That we may embody Philippians 2:3-4 “doing nothing from shellfish or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regarding one another as more important than ourselves”.
