Mission Statement:

Kingdom Builders ministry exists to serve homeowners in the greater Oneonta area by providing quality labor to address construction needs that they are unable to accomplish by their own means. Although the practical focus is on construction, the spiritual focus is on building relationships with those served, with the end goal of demonstrating the love of Christ through ministry.

“And God said, let there be light!”

As we get closer to Spring our days are getting longer and filled with many more days of beautiful blue skies and warm sunshine. This is the time of year, for me, I am feeling very excited about the days ahead. Being in the position in life that God has given me I get to enjoy the great outdoors and God's amazing work and for that I am very thankful. I am truly blessed!

As Kingdom Builders pulls forward, I am reminded of Jesus' ministry and how God provides, blesses and seems to do SO much for His children, but we are also called to take some action of our own.

John 5:8 "Then Jesus said to him " Get up! Pick up your mat and walk".

Jesus could have very easily picked up this man and his mat and sent him on his way but no. The man had to be willing to take some action. Jesus healed him…now it’s his turn to act. And so, it be with us today. Kingdom Builders is being blessed and provided for and we are well on our way to act and serve.

We are working along on our first project and because of your prayers and support things are "get'n done". We have now gotten the flooring part of the project completed. The young single mom of this home is ecstatic and so very appreciative of our work...OUR! You all and Kingdom Builders. We have more work to do one of which is a bathroom remodel. So please keep the prayers coming that funds will come in to get this part of the project going and completed.

Again, I want to thank you all for your support and prayers. Without it this is not possible.

Project Process & Forecast

 Project Process

The board has adopted a project process that will allow us to review and approve projects in a structured and efficient way. Once a candidate applies the application is reviewed by a subcommittee. There is then a site visit to research the condition and the potential scope of the project. Then Andy reviews the site visit information to document the project scope and cost. At that time, it goes to the board for review/approval.

PRAISE AND PRAYERS

Praise

God for the divine appointments between the ministry and those who give of their resources and time to Kingdom Builders. May we always respond with awe and wonder in how good our God is!

For all of you on this journey with us. Your prayers and support fill us with joy and encourage us as we work to fulfil Gods plan through His ministry.

For the light, and the promise of spring – that God has power over death and that he can restore the barren and desolate and bring forth life and vitality.

Prayers

Spring is one of the many ways God revels himself to us – pray that we have open hearts and praising tongues as a witness to those we encounter.

That like the man Jesus told to get up and walk, we too will hear what Jesus is asking of us and respond with action.

For our board member, Dave, who will be undergoing cataract surgery on March 15th.
