Mission Statement:

Kingdom Builders ministry exists to serve homeowners in the greater Oneonta area by providing quality labor to address construction needs that they are unable to accomplish by their own means. Although the practical focus is on construction, the spiritual focus is on building relationships with those served, with the end goal of demonstrating the love of Christ through ministry.

 It is finished

When these words are proclaimed you get an excited, joyous, accomplished, completed feeling inside you. A feeling of a weight lifted off your mind and heart from all your hard work. Knowing that nothing is to be added or taken…it is done!

As we celebrated the death and resurrection of Christ this past week, we are reminded of Jesus’s words “It is finished” recorded in the Gospel of John chapter 19. Words he proclaimed just before He took His last breath on the cross and gave up his spirit. So, in his last words Jesus was communicating that the work he came for was accomplished. The task of earning the salvation of the world was completed in his work on the cross. No more additions or adjustments were necessary…. salvation was completed.  

What a relief for us. And what a huge sense of accomplishment Jesus must have felt. He paid the ultimate price for all His work, for us. And for that I am tremendously thankful! As I can utter the words “it is finished” regarding this bathroom project it surely is in no comparison to the task that Jesus had.  

But Kingdom Builders can have a similar (although very minute in comparison) sense of completeness and accomplishment. 

We are very blessed to have secured the funds to start and complete this part of the project and we thank YOU for being an integral part in this. God is pulling His people together to do great things. 

We do need to keep pulling forward on this project and secure the funds to replace the trailer skirting and some final painting.  Let’s do this!

PRAISE AND PRAYERS

Praise:

God, that it is finished! For the right relationship we can have with our Father though the sacrifice of his son and that we don’t need to work for our salvation.  

For the provision, blessings and divine appointments Father gives us.

That we don’t have to do life alone. You have blessed us with a body of believers that we can call our family.

Prayers:

That we “make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through bonds of peace”. Eph 4:3

That we grant God the highest place in our hearts, minds and in our lives. May we daily worship Him as Lord and King.
