Mission Statement: 

Kingdom Builders ministry exists to serve homeowners in the greater Oneonta area by providing quality labor to address construction needs that they are unable to accomplish by their own means. Although the practical focus is on construction, the spiritual focus is on building relationships with those served, with the end goal of demonstrating the love of Christ through ministry.

Dear Friends,

You are receiving this email because you are on our mailing list, and you are on our mailing list because you have indicated a heart connection with this ministry. We have been working diligently and faithfully as a reflection of our ministry mission statement to “Serve God through Serving Others”. With your support and Andy’s great work, and as funding and needs have been made available, have completed seven projects to date! These have ranged from skirting to keep pipes from freezing to home modifications to address physical needs, to home repairs for those living there to be safe, warm, and dry. As a Board, we see God moving using this ministry to do His work.

When we began, as you know, this was Andy’s desire to serve those less fortunate in our community thereby demonstrating the love of Christ to them. Ministry tools, equipment and van are Andy’s, which he graciously uses and continues to use. As you can imagine, things wear out.  One of those “things” is the vehicle used to get Andy and his tools/equipment to the jobs in order to minister. His van currently has 289,000 miles on it! It is becoming more and more difficult to keep reliable. The Board of KBCNY does not want to “fix” this need on our own, but rather desire to seek the Lord in meeting this need. This is not an appeal for funds, but it is an appeal for you to partner with us in prayer for a very significant need. 

Please join us in prayer to seek the Lord’s direction in this need – whether it be a capital fundraiser, or some other way God would move. We desire to be in alignment with Him – not ahead or behind, but in step with His will. We are not asking God to bless what we will do but rather that we will do what God has already blessed to be done. We have learned the truth of His Word, “Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it…”
