Mission Statement:

Kingdom Builders ministry exists to serve homeowners in the greater Oneonta area by providing quality labor to address construction needs that they are unable to accomplish by their own means. Although the practical focus is on construction, the spiritual focus is on building relationships with those served, with the end goal of demonstrating the love of Christ through ministry.

Creation in gratitude towards the Creator

NOVEMBER 2022

Gives thanks to the Lord, for he is good, his love endures forever Psalm 107:1

Looking at this picture of the beauty of God's creation I think of this verse. I give thanks to the Lord for he is good. He IS good. Good to us to give us all his creation to enjoy. I am amazed at how He makes His creation so beautiful for us to enjoy. Why? Because He loves us. His love endures FOREVER! We are all so very fortunate and blessed to have a God that loves us that much. True unconditional love. Amen! Thank you, Lord.

Kingdom Builders finished up another project this month. We were blessed to be able to serve this precious elderly couple remodeling their bathroom. They had difficulty getting in and out of a tub, so we tore it out and installed a new stand-up shower unit. Their flooring needed replacing and their toilet was the old low style. So, we installed new flooring and a new high-rise toilet. Initially they thought they were only getting a new shower. When I told them we decided to help them further by giving them flooring and a toilet, they were filled with joy. That, my friends, is what makes this ministry worthwhile.  

To see the joy in them as we bless them with God's provisions, is awesome. It fills my heart for sure. I look forward to the day that I can do this full-time but right now I will take what I can get and continue the current part-time path God has me on. Blessings and joy are great whether full time or part-time. 

We continue to receive applicants in need and will keep on pulling forward with God's leading. Thank you so very much for all you do in being a part of Kingdom Builders.

PRAISE AND PRAYERS

Praise:

We gladly acknowledge that one of God’s greatest gifts to us is our world! That we can experience it fully and be overwhelmed by it all at that same time.

Jesus, that he is not only God himself, but also the quintessentially thankful human.

By faith in Jesus, we are liberated from ingratitude and it’s just eternal penalty. We are freed to have the joy of being thankful for God’s favor towards us – not only as his creatures but also as his redeemed.

Prayers:

As we approach this Thanksgiving and Christmas season, that we remember we were created to appreciate God – who He is and in his action for us - every day, even when it’s hard.

That we are thankful for all God’s gifts, especially his eternal gifts, and especially the surpassing value of knowing his Son.
