Mission Statement:
Kingdom Builders ministry exists to serve homeowners in the greater Oneonta area by providing quality labor to address construction needs that they are unable to accomplish by their own means. Although the practical focus is on construction, the spiritual focus is on building relationships with those served, with the end goal of demonstrating the love of Christ through ministry.
June 2026
Grateful and Growing
Well, here we are in June—and we are blessed. I love this time of year when flowers are blooming, trees are full and green, and God’s creation is so vibrant. It fills my heart. Thank You, God!
Our next project is a roof that is in much-needed repair, and this is the ideal time of year to address it. Because of the leaky roof, we also need to repair part of the ceiling inside the house, along with some soffit and fascia work on the exterior.
We are also hoping to have enough funds to replace a compromised window and an exterior door. We know this is not too big for God, and with your prayers and support, it will all come together.
Please continue to pray for the support we need. We currently have over 20 applicants under review—the need in our community is great. With your help, Kingdom Builders is providing a much-needed service.
To God be the glory!
Andy
Colossians 1:12-14
12 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. 13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, 14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.
The great calling of believers in our time, is to hold the ground of truth, to proclaim the words of life, to share our faith, and to demonstrate the love of God and His Kingdom. We get to bring the light of Christ to those who are in darkness. Because the Lord has touched so many of us with His goodness we automatically want to share it with others.
The Kingdom of God begins internally before it becomes visible externally. Kingdom Builders ministry is available to others as a way to share the love of God.
Jesus shared so much concerning the Kingdom of God during His time here and also after His resurrection. It is difficult for some in today’s society to understand kingdom in a culture of independence. A kingdom is ruled by a king. As we celebrate July 4th, we remember this nation was born out of a rejection of monarchy. American colonists fought to free themselves from the sovereignty of a king. The Declaration of Independence in 1776 was not only a political document, but also a cultural statement saying, “we will not be ruled!” We can see that throughout the ages that when a good, loving, caring king ruled that things went well for the people. But adversely, when a king was selfish, it was difficult. Since 1776 an independent spirit has shaped us as Americans. Politically, this has many virtues. It produces responsibility, freedom and initiative. Spiritually, it has a down side. Independence is a disaster to the soul who was created to be totally dependent on God. The very nature of spiritual life is relational and dependent. We are supposed to be relational and dependent on God and each other.
In John 15:5-8 Jesus stated He is the vine and we are the branches, dependent on Him to be fruitful by reaching out to others. It’s such an honor to be connected with other believers and churches sharing and showing His love by helping people in need.
As we celebrate 250 years of freedom in this country, let’s also remember a King who spiritually set all of us free from eternal bondage and has brought us life by laying His life down for mankind. The Lord has blessed us so much and done so much for us. Let us in return be a blessing to others.
2 Corinthians 9:8-9
8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. 9 As it is written: “He has dispersed abroad,
He has given to the poor;
His righteousness endures forever.”
