Mission Statement:
Kingdom Builders ministry exists to serve homeowners in the greater Oneonta area by providing quality labor to address construction needs that they are unable to accomplish by their own means. Although the practical focus is on construction, the spiritual focus is on building relationships with those served, with the end goal of demonstrating the love of Christ through ministry.

Message From the Board "Running the Race with Perseverance"
To run with perseverance! It is easy to say but often it is difficult to, well, to do it. We all know it—life isn’t always easy and sometime the race seems long and difficult. Often challenges, whether they are in our personal life or in a ministry, can arise that are so difficult we may want to throw in the towel. Whether it's an overwhelming circumstance, the demands of family life, the pressures of work, or the need to persevere, it can sometimes feel like too much. When we find ourselves wanting to quit, the book of Hebrews gives us a powerful encouragement to hold onto:
"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us." Hebrews 12:1 NIV. For a number of us who serve on the board of Kingdom Builders, it has been over seven years since we first met with Andy to discuss the desire of his heart to focus on those home owners in our communities with construction needs who do not have the resources to address them. We spent a great deal of time and individual efforts to think through the process of how to gather, evaluate, schedule and accomplish the construction needs without asking for funds from those we intended to serve in the name of Christ Jesus our Lord. I personally had the opportunity to lead the board during this initial effort and to continue in that role during the first few years of the ministry. Since then, others have taken on the duties and responsibilities of board leadership. Yet, now, for 2026 I have been asked by the board to again lead, yet I was concerned that I would just go through the motions necessary to keep the ministry in motion without bringing the creativeness needed to meet the challenges of the ministry. Ah, to run the race with perseverance!
“Witnesses” refer to believers who have gone before us, those whose lives are a testament of faithfulness to God. Their presence reminds us that we're part of a larger story, a legacy of faith that spans generations. This scripture also urges believers to "throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles." Hindrances may be easy to see, such as sinful distractions that hold us back from fully running after God and being obedient in the ministry work God has given us. They may also be internal, like indifference and laziness. Whatever form they may come in, we are challenged to throw them off.
And yet, we don't just throw off things that entangle us and sit down. As the writer of Hebrews says, "Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us." The call is to keep moving forward, no matter how tough or long the journey may seem. Guided by God’s grace and fueled by faith in His providence, we can press on. To that end Andy, the board and I personally ask you to keep us in your prayers throughout this year as we strive to grow and expand our ministry impact in the Greater Oneonta Community. We are deeply grateful for all who labor with us through their prayers, their giving, and their faithful volunteer service.

Psalms 16:11
11 You make known to me the path of life;
in your presence there is fullness of joy;
at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
As we start a new year it carries different expectations and hopes of what
may transpire in 2026. Initially we take a pause and evaluate what
happened last year and anticipate what is in store for us as we go forward.
Kingdom Builders looks forward with excitement to what God will do and
how we will fit into His plans to serve and help those in need. We have a
sense of new beginnings, new projects, and opportunities to be a blessing
to those directed our way. In going forward, we know God is already
present and His mercies are new every morning to guide us on the path He
has before us. We also know His grace is sufficient and His purposes for
this ministry are steadfast and unwavering. As we step into this new year,
may we be filled with hope, anticipation, and trust that the provision will be
available to do what God has entrusted to us.
We just celebrated the birth of Christ, and I’m reminded of the three
wisemen who followed a star until it rested over the place where Jesus
was. Jesus was the main attraction and these men were put on a path to
find Him. They were on a treasure hunt and so are we at Kingdom
Builders. We want to see His name honored and pray that others will
follow after Him on a path that is paved with many blessings.
Proverbs 4:18
18 But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn,
which shines brighter and brighter until full day.
This scripture in Proverbs states that as we step into the path ahead it’s like
a new day. May the path ahead be paved with purpose, love, faith for each
step, and with the goodness of God. What a privilege to help those in need
and share the Good News of redemption to those God puts in our lives.
2 Corinthians 2:14
14 But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal
procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of Him
everywhere.
May 2026 be a blessing to many! Pastor Frank
