Mission Statement:
Kingdom Builders ministry exists to serve homeowners in the greater Oneonta area by providing quality labor to address construction needs that they are unable to accomplish by their own means. Although the practical focus is on construction, the spiritual focus is on building relationships with those served, with the end goal of demonstrating the love of Christ through ministry.

“When God Is in the Details”
We are off to a great start this year. We had a homeowner in need of a walk-in shower due to physical challenges. The bathroom had additional issues, so we gutted it completely. Mold was found in the sheetrock as a result of there being no exhaust fan. Of course, with any remodeling project, there are often hidden challenges. In this case, the floor and part of the framing were compromised.
Floor joist repairs were required, and during that process we discovered that the plumbing also needed to be replaced. The water lines were on the verge of failure. Replacing all the plumbing on projects like this definitely helps me sleep better at night.
I love how God orchestrates our work and places it on my heart during these projects to dig a little deeper—only to uncover repairs that truly need to be done. It’s a reminder that God is in all things, big and small. Every detail matters to Him. Praise Him!
Ephesians 4:6 (NIV)
“One God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.”
We were also blessed with extra helping hands on this project. Jim Odell and Larry Mattice pitched in and offered their skills—truly a blessing.
As always, thank you all for your continued support. We have a full plate this year with many applicants to serve. The work is plentiful, and we are truly blessed.
Andy
What a wonderful time of year, as we reflect on Calvary and how Jesus laid His life down for humanity. The debt of sin was paid on our behalf. As He was dying, Jesus declared, “It is finished!” I believe there is so much incorporated in this declaration. Every time we see the Scriptures declare who we are in Him, they point directly to the cross and the finished work that took place.
In Ephesians 5:1, it challenges us to be imitators of God and to walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. He paid a price we couldn’t pay for spiritual life. We at Kingdom Builders have that same heart in the natural. There are people who have the desire and need to make repairs to their homes but don’t have the means to do so. This ministry gives the church and its believers an opportunity to walk in love and be imitators of Christ for those who have a need and are unable to see it through. When a project is finished, I know the homeowners have a great sense of relief as well as a heart of thanksgiving. I am sure that it pleases God and is a fragrant offering and sacrifice to Him as we are a blessing to others. We continue to pray and trust God for the resources to come in so we can go forward with the vision and calling God placed on Andy’s heart. We are to be an emerging church, rising up for His glory. Our light has come, Jesus Christ! May we arise and emerge to carry the light of the Lord and His presence to a world in need.
Acts 13:47
For so the Lord has commanded us, saying, “I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.”
The church is not merely an organization of people, but people called out for the eternal purpose of bringing salvation to others.
