Mission Statement:

Kingdom Builders ministry exists to serve homeowners in the greater Oneonta area by providing quality labor to address construction needs that they are unable to accomplish by their own means. Although the practical focus is on construction, the spiritual focus is on building relationships with those served, with the end goal of demonstrating the love of Christ through ministry.

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalms 34:18 NIV 

In our ministry we often see people whose dreams are crushed, and they feel broken. Often, it's the wear and tear of their homes that brings them to this. It starts there and brings them to emotional distress. A feeling of despair that they know they can't get out of alone. They need help. Praise God that Kingdom Builders is here to help them with the physical need. My hope is to also be there in their emotional distress and bring them to the assurance that the Lord is close to them in these times. All they need to do is cry out and He is there. That, my friends is awesome. Just call on Him.

Often, I need to be reminded of this, but I thank God that He doesn't give up on me for forgetting. The Apostle Paul speaks of our weakness in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 NIV But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.  

Thank you, Jesus! Pray with me as Kingdom Builders keeps marching on that we can be the light in dark places and assure the brokenhearted and distressed that the Lord is close to them. 

We continue to be very busy with our work. We completed a bathroom and new railing project. This project as a whole is not complete yet. We need to repair some things on the exterior of the home and paint the entire house. 

We will step away from this for now until the warm temperatures come back, and God provides sufficient funds for it. We have funds allotted for a roof and window replacement project that we will move into. We have many needs in our wheelhouse, and we continue to pray that God will provide for them. We ask that you continue to pray with us for these needs.

God that he sees us and hears us when we are discouraged.

God responds to the cries of the afflicted, emphasizing that spiritual restoration is available to those who sincerely seek Him during their trials.

Prayers:

We lift up a collective prayer for all who need God’s divine presence, that your grace envelops them offering solace and healing.

For all facing trials and tribulations, we pray for their resolve to be strengthened in you. May they know you and your presence and that they are never alone.
